RankGen Retrieval Evidence

RankGen turns buyer questions into observable retrieval evidence. Results distinguish retrieved sources, explicit citations, brand mentions and unavailable signals rather than presenting a universal AI ranking.

What does RankGen measure?

RankGen records buyer questions, exposed generated searches, retrieved sources, explicit citation annotations, brand mentions and any limits on the observation.

Does one observation prove how every AI system responds?

No. Results can change by question, location, time and retrieval environment. An observation is evidence for that run, not a universal AI ranking.

What is the distinction between retrieval, citation and mention?

Retrieved means the domain was seen in exposed source data. Cited means the answer supplied an explicit citation annotation. Mentioned means the business identity appeared in answer text.

What happens when the answer system does not expose enough evidence?

RankGen marks that finding Unavailable instead of interpreting missing evidence as a definite No.
