A backend observation service
RankGen Retrieval Network is the public name for RankGen’s observation pipeline. Questions are processed through a private backend. The browser receives normalized retrieval evidence, not service credentials or private configuration.
Built for replaceable environments
Provider adapters translate available evidence into the same observation schema. Different environments can expose different fields. RankGen retains unavailable states and does not imply that one observation represents all answer systems.
Where local processing fits
Report rendering, chart calculations and exports run in your browser. Public website fetching and retrieval requests run on the backend where access controls and credentials can be protected. This release does not require a local language model or claim that third-party retrieval has no operating cost.
